Here’s an easy recipe using ingredients you probably already have in your fridge and pantry. Even if tofu isn’t something you usually keep on hand, it’s widely available in American grocery stores.
Dau Hu Trung Chien is a staple in my dinner rotation, making an appearance at least once a week. It’s a great protein source with minimal fuss.
If you’re new to tofu, this recipe will win you over. The tofu is lightly seasoned with salt and pepper, dipped in an egg mixture, and pan-fried to golden perfection.
To make it even better, I serve it with a sweet and savory soy dipping sauce.
