- 1 lb shrimp (size 21/25 or larger)
- 1 stick unsalted butter (8 tablespoons)
- 1 head garlic (chop)
- 1/4 teaspoon Old Bay Seasoning
- 1/4 teaspoon Cajun Seasoning
- 1 1/2 teaspoons Lemon Pepper Seasoning
- 2 teaspoons ground cayenne red pepper
- 2 teaspoons granulated sugar
Instructions
- Melt Butter: In a large skillet with a lid, melt butter over medium heat.
- Add Seasonings: Stir in the garlic, Old Bay Seasoning, Cajun Seasoning, Lemon Pepper Seasoning, paprika, and sugar. Mix well to combine.
- Cook the Shrimp: Add the shrimp to the skillet, tossing until evenly coated in the buttery seasoning mixture. Cover the skillet with the lid to retain moisture and cook the shrimp faster without burning the garlic. Simmer on low heat for about 5 minutes or until the shrimp are cooked through and opaque.
- Serve: Serve immediately with steamed rice.
Notes
For a less spicy version, substitute cayenne for paprika.
