Ingredients

Salt and Chili Sauce

  • 2 teaspoons granulated white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/2 tablespoon ground red pepper flakes
  • 1 tablespoon Sriracha sauce'

Baguettes

  • Scallion Oil
  • 3 small loaves French baguettes
  • 4 tablespoons melted unsalted butter
  • Cooked hot dogs (cut into strips)
  • Dried pork/chicken floss
  • Kewpie mayo

Instructions

  1. Make the Salt and Chili Sauce: In a small bowl, mix salt, sugar, ground red pepper flakes, and Sriracha sauce.
  2. Flatten baguettes: Using a rolling pin or a heavy object, press down on the baguettes to flatten them evenly.
  3. Brush on Sauces: Brush on a good amount of butter, chili sauce, and scallion oil.
  4. Grill the Baguettes: Grill baguettes on all sides for crispy outer crust.
  5. Assemble and Serve: Transfer baguettes to serving dish. Cut into bite-sized pieces. Top with cooked hot dogs and dried pork/chicken floss. Drizzle with mayo and more Sriracha if preferred.
