Salt and Chili Sauce
- 2 teaspoons granulated white sugar
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/2 tablespoon ground red pepper flakes
- 1 tablespoon Sriracha sauce'
Baguettes
- Scallion Oil
- 3 small loaves French baguettes
- 4 tablespoons melted unsalted butter
- Cooked hot dogs (cut into strips)
- Dried pork/chicken floss
- Kewpie mayo
Instructions
- Make the Salt and Chili Sauce: In a small bowl, mix salt, sugar, ground red pepper flakes, and Sriracha sauce.
- Flatten baguettes: Using a rolling pin or a heavy object, press down on the baguettes to flatten them evenly.
- Brush on Sauces: Brush on a good amount of butter, chili sauce, and scallion oil.
- Grill the Baguettes: Grill baguettes on all sides for crispy outer crust.
- Assemble and Serve: Transfer baguettes to serving dish. Cut into bite-sized pieces. Top with cooked hot dogs and dried pork/chicken floss. Drizzle with mayo and more Sriracha if preferred.
